Mai is a Clinical Psychologist with a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology and over 17 years of extensive experience providing integrative psychotherapy for adults, couples, families, and groups.
She has worked with UNFPA centers offering psychological support and therapy to refugees affected by war from various countries. Mai is also highly experienced in facilitating therapeutic workshops.
She is a certified Emotionally Focused Therapist (EFT) and a board member of the Egyptian Association for Emotionally Focused Therapy (EGYCEFT). She is currently pursuing her certification as an EFT Supervisor (ICEEFT).
Additionally, Mai is certified in Group Psychotherapy using the 4-Step Integrative Model, and is a certified practitioner and assistant trainer in Somatic Experiencing (SE). She has completed Level 1 training in Internal Family Systems (IFS) and has been trained in Nonviolent Communication (NVC) in Egypt.
Most recently, Mai joined the Psychodrama Diploma offered by the Egyptian Association for Group Therapies (EAGT) in collaboration with the Mediterranean Institute of Psychodrama (Italy).
